Greetings everyone. I am Buhle Katanga a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Eswatini College of Technology. I lecturer Plant Technology, Mathematics, Engineering Science and A final year project.
The main reasons I enrolled for the course was because I wanted to expand my knowledge on sustainability in the education sector. Furthermore, to share knowledge to my colleagues and students on sustainability. This awareness on sustainability will be practiced in our work place and communities.
The Change Project, I’m focusing on developing or designing a bio-digester plant for production of methane gas as a source of fuel in the school kitchen and hospitality department. The bio-digesters will use kitchen biodegradable waste and grass waste after clearing the school premises. The bi-product of the bio-digests can be used as fertilizer.

Greetings everyone. My name is Buhle katanga a lecturer at Eswatini College of Technology in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I lecturer Plant Technology, Applied Mathematics, Engineering Science and Final year project coordinator.

The main reasons I decided to enrol for sustainability course was to have a deep knowledge of sustainability and share it with my colleagues, students and my community at large.

For the change project. I am looking to designing a bio-digester plant at the institution for production of methane as fuel and subsidise the cost electricity while keeping our environment clean and sustainable. The the waste from the bio-digesters can be used as fertilizers.
