Sustainable development is is the one that meets the needs of current and future generations. That means how, what is being practiced today affects the future.

Education for sustainable development is based on the fact that we consider what will stand for many years to come.

The two definitions will help us in working together as a community of students, lecturers, and community at large in bringing a change in our community.

Sustainable development is a process of using available resources to meet human needs however taking care and preserving those resources to be available for future generations

The whole world is experiencing climate changes as a result of pollutants that destroy the ozone layer therefore the project is aimed at reducing the land degradation by alleviating and then eradicating the use of foam packs starting from our college. Skills, values and attitude would be developed toward making our college free from polystyrene foam pack pollutant.

Improving capacity building by engaging the prospective teachers in discouraging the use of foam packs. They would develop skills and values that would help them become change agents in their villages and in schools of their employment to save the environment
