To what extent does it reflect your understanding of sustainable development?
Ans: our vision aims to produce highly skilled Labour force that will improve infrastructure. this is in line with ESD change project because it is base to industrialization and improvement of economy of the nation
To what extent does it reflect the definition of sustainable development that reads “Sustainable Development is development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”? Do you think this is needed or not?
Ans: the vision and mission statement reflects SD in the sense that highly skilled labour force trained in Technical colleges will lead to improved industrialization as well as increase employment opportunities. this will lead to flourishing of cities , improved infrustructure and improved economic status of citizens
To what extent does your institution’s Vision and Mission statement reflect the objectives of ESD and the GAP?
ans: there are elements of production of high quality skilled labour force graduates, improved infrastructure and creation of self employment
How would you reframe/restate your institution’s Vision and Mission statement to more substantively reflect SD and ESD (based on your understandings of these concepts and your context)?
Ans: the Vision and mission statement should include elements of climate change through afforestation and proper waste management because there are lots of waste products left during training. the Vision should also include pedagogy teaching skills capacity building program to trainers.Elements of innovation are also vital to be included i the vision ? mission statement
